GRAF UK Ltd Announces Charitable Initiative with Banbury Rugby Union Football Club in Support of Katharine House Hospice

GRAF UK Ltd is thrilled to announce a charitable initiative in partnership with Banbury Rugby Union Football Club, benefitting Katharine House Hospice. For the home games at The GRAF UK Stadium on Saturday 6th and Saturday 20th January, GRAF UK will donate 10 pence from every £1 spent at the bar to Katharine House Hospice.

This initiative is a key part of the Katharine House Hospice Accumulator Challenge, continuing until 16th February 2024. GRAF UK Ltd, in its commitment to supporting the local community, is proud to extend its sponsorship to include The Watering Hole, the club's bar, coinciding with GRAF UK's 10th anniversary and Banbury Rugby Club’s centenary celebrations.

Matthew Rolph, Managing Director of GRAF UK, expressed his excitement about this new venture: “We are absolutely delighted to enhance our support and sponsorship at the rugby club by sponsoring The Watering Hole at The GRAF UK Stadium. This is a fantastic way to celebrate both our 10-year anniversary and Banbury Rugby Club’s 100-year anniversary. It's an honour to contribute to such a worthy cause and simultaneously support local teams and groups, strengthening our community ties."

In a new development, as part of the sponsorship of The Watering Hole, GRAF UK Ltd will be celebrating every home win by offering the first drink free to all club members. If the home side wins, members can enjoy their first celebratory drink on us, simply by showing their membership card.

GRAF UK Ltd encourages all supporters and rugby fans to attend the games on 6th and 20th January to help maximise the donation to the hospice. These matches offer a prime opportunity for the community to come together in support of a vital local cause.

Phil ‘Monty’ Montanaro, Honorary Secretary and President-Elect of Banbury Rugby Union Football Club, acknowledged the importance of the relationship between Graf UK Ltd and BRUFC in providing vital support for the Club at a time when they are seeking to widen their exposure and impact within the local community. On the verge of celebrating their centenary, BRUFC continues to promote a strong ethos of diversity and inclusion which they hope is reflected in everything they do. A strong supporter of Katharine House Hospice for many years, the Club are also delighted to be associated with the wonderful charitable initiative announced by Graf UK Ltd.

This charitable effort is among several fundraising activities undertaken by GRAF UK Ltd as part of the Katharine House Hospice Accumulator Challenge. The goal is to raise as much as possible, demonstrating GRAF UK's dedication to corporate social responsibility and local community engagement.
