The GRAF General Purpose Pit effectively removes contaminants, ensuring that discharged water meets stringent environmental standards. By preserving water resources, these tanks play a crucial role in minimising the ecological impact of wastewater discharge. Their efficient operation ensures that treated water returned to the sewer is of high quality, contributing to environmental conservation efforts.

The General-Purpose Pit

includes inspectable surge baffle and an inspectable double baffle to trap contaminants by their densities. It is used for trade waste that might contain non-preventable liquids and solids that will either set or float in the tank.

Super Compact Tank

The General-Purpose Pit is developed with our superior Super Compact Tank.

The SC tank is named for its compactness; engineered to streamline installation and optimise functionality. With a focus on efficiency, this tank boasts an ideal length-to-width ratio, ensuring ample space between inlet and outlet without sacrificing its compact footprint.

Functionality

By allowing passive separation of solids and encouraging the settling process; removing solids and reducing the workload of subsequent treatment stages.

This not only enhances the overall performance of the treatment plant but also ensures consistent compliance with regulatory requirements. By efficiently removing contaminants, general purpose and settling tanks contribute to sustainable water management practices, safeguarding the health of aquatic ecosystems and supporting the long-term viability of water resources.
