New on-site wastewater treatment system for Dundrum hotel & golf club.
This project involves designing and implementing a wastewater treatment system tailored for Dundrum House Hotel and its associated facilities, including a function room, golf course, driving range, and clubhouse with bar and restaurant. The system is required to manage a daily hydraulic load of 129.3m³ and a daily organic load of 45.53kg, serving a capacity of 862 population equivalent (PE).
The effluent treatment must meet stringent discharge standards: BOD5 (20mg/l), COD (90mg/l), SS (5mg/l), NH4N (5mg/l), TN (15mg/l), and TP (2mg/l). Treated effluent will be discharged into an adjacent river under a licensing agreement.
The proposed solution features a GRAF oneAdvanced 862PE Custom Wastewater Treatment Plant with various components to ensure efficient operation:
- Effluent buffer tank with forward feed pumps.
- Twin-packaged sand filters with a 6500-litre backwash tank and twin pumps.
- Ferric dosing system.
- WebMonitor and GSM alarms for remote management and alerts.
- A control building (4m x 3m steel shed) for housing control panels and related infrastructure.
