Making waves in the garden and on the patio
From tiles and carpets to furniture, waves are currently a big feature of home design. Graf, the trendsetter in rainwater harvesting, will be presenting the first decorative rainwater storage tank with an attractive wave design at spoga+gafa in Cologne. The Natura 2in1 will be available from retailers in January 2015.
The Natura 2in1 has a three-dimensional surface with convex and concave areas. The unique production method used gives the tank unusual tactile qualities. The more light falls on this elegant wavelike water butt, the more it highlights the beauty of this unusual design. Made of high-quality plastic, the tank is UV-stable and weather-resistant. As a mark of its high quality, Graf offers a five-year warranty on the tank.
Available in four on-trend colours – Arctic, Beach, Sahara and Ocean – the Natura 2in1 adds a touch of design flair in the garden or on the patio. The understated colours harmonise with the simple lines of the 1.5 m high tank. Although it has a generous storage capacity of 350 l, the tank has a compact footprint. Like the multi-award-winning Graf products of recent years, the new range has two functions: as well as storing rainwater, the tank can be fitted with a plant cup.
The Natura 2in1 adds another trendsetting design to Graf's range of attractive tanks, underlining its position as a design leader in rainwater harvesting. Customers can now choose from over 70 shapes, colours and sizes of rainwater tanks.
The Natura 2in1 comes with two integrated threads. Water can be extracted with the elegant tap or alternatively with a universal hose kit. This makes the tank easy to empty before the frost sets in.
Connecting the rainwater tank to the downpipe from the roof is just as simple as extracting water. The Speedy rain collector removes coarse pieces of dirt and automatically prevents the tank from overflowing when full. During periods of frost the inlet to the tank can be shut off.
According to the manufacturer, the downpipe filter can be installed in just 5 minutes. The necessary holes are accurately drilled in the downpipe and rainwater storage tank with a core drill bit supplied along with the tank. Then the filter is simply inserted into the downpipe and fitted in the rainwater tank with a connecting seal, and the job is done.
