This project is a CNG fueling station which is designed as a fast-fill station to provide fuel to GFL. The site is located in Abbotsford near Highway 1, which is a major transportation route for medium and heavy-duty trucks. Due to multiple below underground infrastructure installed, a network of pipes and drains were integrated into the design to collect surface water and direct it to the detention storage area. To mitigate the potential impact of increased impervious surfaces and to meet local stormwater management regulations, a Graf Ecobloc stormwater detention system was in-stalled beneath the expanded parking area. This system will temporarily store and manage stormwater runoff from the site, preventing downstream flooding and erosion.
